I’m barely making ends meet working two jobs and would like to eliminate or reduce my credit card balances as well as pay a medical bill. It’s stressing me out.

Seriously, every time a news show does a story about credit cards they always talk about those in the worst situation and make the CC companies look evil. Why do news agencies ever talk about CC users who pay in full each month and reap the rewards such as cashback, miles, etc. with no interest or fees? If you are going to bad-mouth and industry at least present both sides.

I put my check in the mail to pay my credit card at least a week before it is due on the statement, and I pay more than the minimum payment, but they are processing it as late! Do you think I can talk customer service into not chargin me the late fees as I am paying on time, in reality, it’s them who are processing them as late?
What happens to those that cannot pay credit cards. What is the law in Dubai for credit card offenders?

I know it would be a stupid thing to do but do people do it. I think it would be funny if someone had two credit cards and payed them off using the other card every month. They’d pay off credit card 1 with credit card 2 this month then use credit card 2 to pay off credit card 1 next month.
Is it worse to have lots of debt on your credit report, or to close out cards and make payment deals?

I have lots of credit debt and want to close out the credit accounts as I pay them to stop interest and make payment plans. Would it be better to pay the interest and live in debt or close out my accounts and pay them at a slower speed? Also, how long will the negatives be on my report? Note: I am on the brink of collections now anyway.

I just recently transferred two of my credit cards into two 0% for 15 months each. They both have a $4,000.00 balance. Should I double up payments on both or do one at a time?

Now that washington mutual is owned by chase- can I combine credit debt?

I have 1300 debt on a 1500 washington mutual credit card and 3400 debt on a chase credit card. My interest rate is 27% can I combine the debt on the two credit cards. Any tips on how to lower the interest?
