I studied abroad for a year in England, and had a credit card issued from a British bank. I had 1 pound in balance on my card (that’s like $2.00 USD). I’ve been back in the States for a year, and the interest is slowly building up, like a few cents each month, and it’s like $2.50 now. I haven’t paid it yet. Will the bank hand their file to a credit card debt agency and will they come after something as low as $2.50???

I’m in process of starting an organization to help middle class families get out from under their large amount of credit card debt instead of waiting for the government to help or credit card companies to help. Would you be willing to make a donation to selected families in the PayitForward method to help reduce the large amount of credit card debt?

How can I reduce my debt with the following situation?
Posted by admin in Credit Cards on December 26th, 2009
I own my home. My first mortgage is $380,000 my second mortgage is $90,000. I have approx $60,000 in unsecured credit card debt (approx 12 accounts). My home has dropped in value by about $40,000. What are my options? I would like to eliminate all my credit card debt and have at maximum 3 accounts to lower my monthly payment. (1st mortgage, 2nd mortgage and other debt).
Does anyone have advice on how I can do this? My credit score is 670.
Thanks
