me-inside asked:
Seriously, every time a news show does a story about credit cards they always talk about those in the worst situation and make the CC companies look evil. Why do news agencies ever talk about CC users who pay in full each month and reap the rewards such as cashback, miles, etc. with no interest or fees? If you are going to bad-mouth and industry at least present both sides.

Why do news agencies never report on Americans who pay credit cards in full?

That’s like they have never reported on people who don’t go around shooting other people. Paying their mortgage payments on time. And all the rest of the things RESPONSIBLE people do.
Why do you think the news media is paying so much attention to Obama? He’s making a lot of promises but he won’t be responsible if they are kept.

Because it does not make interesting reading, they like to report on peoples suffering as the public cant get enough of others pain.

They are not reported for the reasons stated above - there is no story there. But please also know that Credit Card companies would not be in business long if everyone did pay off their balances…lotsa credit means lotsa business…

Because dog bites man is not news. man bites dog is.
In short people paying companies is not news.
