HECK Yeah! They don’t care who pays it as long as the check is good. For any payments other than mail in or Online Banking, you may run into the privacy issue, but stick to a check or use your bank’s online banking to make the payment.

It would be seen just like a credit card balance transfer.

I would check just to be sure. I tried to pay my dads bofa card over the phone and they refused to take the payment. Of course I called again as if I was him and paid it anyways… send that check…. I am sure they will take it.

They will accept it. They won’t even look at the name on the check.
It does not matter who remits paymnt there is payment due, and if it comes in on time no problem.

The creditor also knows that people don’t pay other peoples bills, were it not for a reason. There is nothing in a credit card application that prescribes who pays the bill, just that it has to paid, certain amount and certain date.

Get that payment out fast , or your brother will incur a large late fee-$29 to $39 usually, and also a delinquent interest rate of usually 29% or more. Get going!!
