Stephen asked:
I would like to find a place were i can put all my debt, credit cards, phone bill, speeding tickets, school loan, auto loan and what ever else i might have. Is there anything i can do to do this. My credit is bad i want to start rebuilding it, but i don’t make a whole lot of money a month. rent is my number one priority. I really want to take care of everything so i don’t ruin my future.

Is holiday spending a problem for families?

Erin A asked:
am putting together a service project for a business organization at my college, and I was thinking about making packages of information about holiday spending– how to avoid holiday debt, recover from it, inexpensive gift ideas, etc.
Do you think this is a helpful/worthwhile project?
Would churches be a good venue for a project like this, or is there a better place to reach the right people?
Thanks!

I have about 25K in credit card debt. I am planning to buy a 540K house. Currently I have great credit, is it possible to add my credit card debt into the home loan in order to make it a single monthly payment. What is the loan program called? I am shooting for 5 yr. ARM. Me and my wife plan to live there for about 3-4 yrs.

pay it all off as quick as I can. I know there are people out there the same age as me and are in debt alot more. Is this what money is? should I just accpet that us human’s to live are always going to be paying off some type of debt weather it’s for a car, mortgage, holiday etc… Or should I be trying really hard to pay my debts off and instead of borrowing money try saving up for things instead.

I recently got a $2,500 bonus at work. Should I use it to pay down debt or spend it on a holiday?

NOTE that my debt is not out of control and I’m following a debt repayment plan. I’m just wondering if it’s better to be practical or to have fun.
I just wanted to point out that Í’m not in trouble with debt. I have a credit line I make monthly payments on and it’s affordable. I’m just wondering, when you get some extra money do you use it for bills or for something else?
